Ok… Já sei que estão à espera que eu escreva qualquer coisa sobre este tema… Marie Curie...
Pois bem, decidi fazê-lo. Não só, porque este foi o tema da peça de teatro que fomos ver este Fim-de-Semana, mas porque de facto o achei muito interessante, pois para além de ter sido muito educativo, também foi bastante esclarecedor, visto que tivemos a oportunidade de conhecer um pouco mais da vida de Marie Sklodowska Curie. Um monólogo retratado pela suposta ‘voz’ de uma jornalista americana que além de ter sido uma grande admiradora de Marie Curie, também conseguiu a amizade da primeira mulher a obter um Prémio Nobel, proeza esta, que na época cabia apenas ao mundo dos homens.
Assim, em 1903, Marie Curie, divide o prémio da Física com Becquerel pela descoberta da Radioactividade, e em 1911 repete a proeza, ao vencer o Prémio Nobel da Química pelo desenvolvimento do novo método de isolamento do radio.
